Judge Michael Pollard

Judge Michael Pollard was drafted into the Marine Corps in 1967. After his service, Judge Pollard earned his law degree from the University of Arizona, College of Law and worked as a prosecutor and public defender for 20 years. In 1994, Judge Pollard was appointed as a Tucson City Court Magistrate.  Judge Pollard spearheaded the implementation of the  Regional Municipalities Veterans Treatment Court in Tucson and expanded the court to the surrounding jurisdictions with the help of other legal professionals. In 2018, Judge Pollard founded SAJV after recognizing the limitations of grant funding and the growing need of  RMVTC.
